"Foolish creature of the flesh. I am ancient. I am forever. I have seen Empires rise and fall. I have seen entire species wither to cinders. I have seen the depths and the cold and the abyss that lay beyond. You are no more a nuisance to me than plankton. You are so insignificant, and I am so exquisitely eternal that I am the closest thing you will have to a God."

"You don’t owe people the person you used to be. You don’t have to talk to people who are speaking to the old you. When you’ve gone from weakness to strength, you don’t owe a show of your former self to someone who just can’t wrap their head around your change."
"You can be in a relationship for two years and feel nothing; you can be in a relationship for 2 months and feel everything. Time is not a measure of quality; of infatuation, or of love."
"You think ‘Okay, I get it, I’m prepared for the worst’, but you hold out that small hope, see, and that’s what fucks you up. That’s what kills you."
"Time might separate us some day. But, even still, until then, let’s stay together."
